A sculpture - a teapot made of silver and boxwood, bullet-shaped with moulded foot, fluted spout and straight - sided body. The circular hinged lid with has a circular boxwood knop and the ebonised boxwood handle is ear - shaped. Engraved around the top of the body is flat - chased strapwork decoration in the form of shells and foliage. Made by Silversmith Issac Cookson, Newcastle upon Tyne, in 1732.
